What better way to kick off a new year than volunteering yourself to a charity that can benefit significantly from your time and skills? Volunteering is meaningful work, and Stepping Stones have opportunities available now through their Spring 2020 program (February-June). Here’s how you can help.
Who are Stepping Stones?
Stepping Stones is a not-for-profit charity with a mission to improve the education and general welfare of disadvantaged children in China. This organization helps kids receive a better education by sending volunteers to different schools every week to teach English, digital literacy and other subjects. They reach thousands of students by working in migrant workers’ schools and community centers in Shanghai and rural China.

This program offers a rewarding way to educate children. Volunteers are asked to teach once a week for a full school term with a minimum of eight weeks of teaching. Stepping Stones will provide an online orientation and training session to volunteers in mid-February.
